Team Land Development
Job Title Land Development Group Leader: Tucson
Overview Description of the Position:
Responsible for overall management of a new/emerging team. This includes the management of the technical, marketing, and personnel functions of a team, including profit performance, professional development of team members, interviewing and hiring recommendation of new team members, monitoring of performance problems and adherence to employment termination policies, marketing the team's services, managing client expectations, and managing client and team relations. As a project manager will, with the assistance of the project team, develop scopes of work, budgets, schedules and team assignments for projects. May also be responsible for some design tasks on projects and will monitor project progress and help solve problems.

Experience & Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline, or comparable experience level. Must be a registered engineer and have at least ten years' full-time, increasingly responsible engineering experience and at least five years' experience supervising technical personnel on a daily basis.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Market team's services.
• Project contract and fee negotiation.
• Client relations.
• Communicate regularly with clients about project issues.
• Communicate regularly with team members about project, team and firm issues.
• Develop team members' abilities and plan for their professional development.
• Monitor quality of team's work.
• Monitor profit performance.
• Provide overall project management and quality control.
• Provide guidance for less experienced staff.
• Manage office facilities and equipment (branch office).
• Traverse and work in all types of terrain, all kinds of weather conditions, and project sites in various stages of construction.
